Dolpo in Tibeatan call Bae yul it means hidden land, is a remote and spectacular corner of the Himalaya. Dolpo is the largest district of Nepal has been long bypassed by Nepal Government development although a few anthropologist and geographers have explored the region. The Tibetan styles of village, impressive Bon monasteries and yak caravan with Tibet are major attraction. Dolpo was opened just in 1989 for foreigners however upper Dolpo is still call restricted area. Shey Gumba was opened only in 1992 for the foreigners. The northern part is restricted because this valley offers easy access to forbidden Tibet, its aura of mysticism and crystal mountains, the untouched sangria-las and pockets of pristine Tibetan culture as well as the fabulous mountain scenery ranged from the high- altitude trans Himalayan deserts.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Nepalgunj by flight.
Day 04:Nepalgunj to Juphal by morning flight and over night at Dunai (2150m),

Day 04Nepalgunj to Juphal by morning flight and over night at Dunai (2150m),The trail descends to the large village of Dangi Bhara, Khala Gaura and a big village on the bank of Bheri River is Dunai.
Day 05Dunai to Chhepka walking along the bank of Thulo Bheri and Sulighat to Phoksundo national park checkpost. Cross to the westbank and abandoned settlement of Raktang walking upstream and cross to the east bank to Sankta over th Ankhe Khola. The three villages Ankhe, Rahagaon and Parela are high on the ridge above. The path climbs over a ridge at 2700m then descends on a rocky path to Chepk (2670m)
Day 06Chhepka to Renje, The trail is very close to the river and climbing over a small village and it has several more ups and downs through the forests of firs and larches as it continues upstream to a bridge that leads to Remje (3010m)
Day 07Renje to Phoksundo Lake, The trail continues to the eastwards, steeper and narrower ascending and descending through the forest of big cedars, winter settlement, birch and chirpine. The route is steeplyon a sandy through open country of dusty switchbacks gaining over 400m to a ridge to 3730m. From where you will see approximately 200m high waterfall again the trail is steeper for a few hours then turns easy part to the Phoksundu Lake (3620m).
Day 08 Rest day at Phoksundo Lake, during the day you can visit the picturesque, medieval looking phoksundo village, phoksundo Lake and Thasung Chholing Gomba almost built 60 generation ago. 6 hours of walking.
Day 09Phoksundo Lake to Chunemba, The trail contours on a rocky ledge to the crest at 4060 m and steep and dusty descent through birches and blue pines to Phoksundo khola and Cho phu. Follow an indistinct trail through thorn bushes and scrub trees to Campsite Chhunemba at 3630m. 5 hours of walking
Day 10Chunemba to LarTsa, cross the east bank of Phoksundo khola and climb steep valley to the north. It is long climb up the ridge past a few groves of birch trees. There are spectaculars views of mountains and valleys. Then, gently descends to the camp site LarTsa 4120m. 5 hours
Day 11Lartsa to Menok DingThe trail is more than 500m ascending and 130m descending for the day, cross the bridge and climb to the top of 4490m then way up grassy ridge to Menok Ding 4610m. 4 hours walking
Day 12Menok Ding to Shey Gumba 4390m. Today it is very long walking, descending is more than ascending, and today there is choice of trails to go to Shey Gumba. The shorter and animal route is call Dolmala and other pilgrimage and scenic route is call Sehu la, after a steep, rough climb the trail descent to Tar valley. Visiting 800 years old Gumba Tsakang, cross the river on a log bridge and climb past a big chorten and a huge field of Mani stones to Shey Gumba 4390m.
Day 13Rest day,you can visit surrounding holistic places in Shey Gumba. Shey Gumba is believed to be built around 800 years ago however the Gumba is not big and not any artifacts paintings inside. The Gomba is an ancient Tibetan scroll and has statue of Padmasambhava, Sakyamuni Buddha and Milerepa.
Day 14Shey Gumba to Namgung.The trail goes to east from Shey and cross the pass GE LA 5010m and long descend and again ascending up to ridge of caves and monasteries complexes village Namgung 4430m.
Day 15Namgung to Komas gaun .The trail is leading via very beautiful landscape; it is mostly ascending after crossing a River Saldang a small crest then descends to a small hidden hamlet Komasgaun with the complexes of monastery and school.
Day 16Komasgaun to Shimen. Cross a small River and 45 minutes of climb then leads ahead in easy flat and long descent to Shimen village and make camp after village in wide pasture field.
Day 17Shimen to Tinje. A trek leads cross over Pha 4090m, it has almost 300m ascent and 300m descent day trek to Tinje at 4150m
Day 18Tinje to Rapka.The trek is almost 550m ascent by passing the mysterious disused Tinje aiport and descent 150m to the River bank to Rapka 4530m.
Day 19Rapka to Chharka,climbs up to the Chharka la 4920m and big drop into next valley to picturesque village Chharka (4120) on the River bank Barbung Khola.
Day 20Chharka to Norbulung,the trail goes up and down and climbs on a rough trail and emerges into a big meadow to the Campsite Norbulung (4720m)
Day 21Norbulung to Sandaphediclimb to a yak pasture and long traverse across meadows to the foot of Sangda La and steep climb to the crest of Sangda 5460m and descent to stream site for the camping 5100m.
Day 22Sangdaphedi to Sangda. The trail descends through the loose shale to Sangda Ghunsa village. Cross the river, follow the track to uphill then descent to a stream and another climbing to Sangda village 3700m.
Day 23Sangda to Dhagarjun,climbing the hill behind Sangda to high traverse of nine ridges, there are fine views of Mustang valley, descend to Kaligandaki valley to Dhargarjun village 3290m.
Day 24Dhagarjun to Jomsom, It climbs up to a ridge at 3360 and final descent on a dreadful trail of loose rocks to Jomsom and free noon, evening dinner farewell altogether.
Day 25Jomsom to pokhara, Morning flight to Pokhara and depends on you to go to KTM or spend a day in the queen city pokhara.
