Mardi Himal trekking is Eco-tourism based trekking destination in Annapurna region where only very few tourist have visited, however it is known as the most beautiful trekking route in Annapurna. This treks offer you the panoramic dominant views of different Mountains like Annapuna I, II, III, IV, Annapurna south, Hiuchuli, Dhaulagiri, Machhapurchhare, Lamjung to Manaslu ranges.Mardi Himal is located in the east of the Modi Khola in the fold of Southwest of Mt. Machhapuchhare, across the valley from Hiunchuli.

The emphasis of Mardi Himal trekking is on the forest and wilderness into the villages and mountains. It follows the least trodden trail away from the trekkers madding crowd with essence of exploration. There is ascending through different villages and pristine oak and rhododendron forest to alpine campsite that affords magnetic scenery of sacred Mt. Machapuchare, Mardi Himal and Annapurnas as well the great ice falls, glaciers from Annapurana sanctuary walls. We descend from the different route to the charming valley and friendly villages on the bank of Mardi River which is still away from the used trekking routes. This is designed to provide outstanding mountain profile of camping based to venture into the forests and villages trekking. This trek doesnt need any previous experience of high altitudes because every precaution will be taken to ensure gradual and thorough acclimatization during the trek to the mountain.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01:arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel

Day 02:Kathmandu to Pokhara: (200 km/ 6-7 hours): Drive by bus/car or fly.

Day 03:Pokhara to Australian camp

Day 04:Australian camp to Forest camp (2480m):

Day 05:Forest camp to Low camp (2950m):

Day 06:Low camp to Mardi High camp (3680m)

Day 07:Mardi high camp to Siding (1750m):

Day 08:Siding to Mardi Bridge (1160m):

Day 09:Mardi Bridge to Thulo chaur (1590m):

Day 10:Thulo chaur to Ghachock (1150m):

Day 11:Ghachock to Pokhara:

Day 12:Pokhara to Kathmandu:

Detail Itinerary

Day 03Pokhara to Australian camp Drive about 30 minutes to Naudanda by vehicle 2 hours of walking to Australian camp

Day 04Australian camp to Forest camp (2480m): Gradual ascending to Forest camp through the heavy Himalayan forests.

Day 05Forest camp to Low camp (2950m): The trail ascend gradually through the ridge and beautiful forest. The mind blowing views of mountains are looking all around including the beautiful passages.

Day 06Low camp to Mardi High camp (3680m) The trek is really fantastic, the views of nature and Himalayas. You will arrive High camp during the lunch and may try to hike at higher to MBC and the other mountains. Annapurna south and Hiuchuli seems that you can touch them.

Day 07Mardi high camp to Siding (1750m): Descending along the same way back we came through. Sidding is a very beautiful typical village.

Day 08Siding to Mardi Bridge (1160m): local village trekking and overnight at home stay

Day 09Mardi Bridge to Thulo chaur (1590m): cultural trekking

Day 10Thulo chaur to Ghachock (1150m): Cultural trekking overnight at local Home stay

Day 11Ghachock to Pokhara: cultural trekking and drive to pokhara

Day 12Pokhara to Kathmandu: Drive or flight to KTM
