Gokyo valley is one of the best trekking trails for those who has very short time holidays into the Himalayas or who wants easy walking however observe the mountain closely. It leads us same way up to the greatest glacier Ngozumba, holy lake Gokyo and Cho oyu gardening site then same way back down. This trek provides simply and slowly towards the high mountain paradise then comfortable descending to ending point. We follow the same way of Everest classic route until Sanasa and follow the left Dudhkoshi Valley. You will have an opportunity to explore Gokyo Ri 5380m, from here rounding sky touching wall of mountains like Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Maklau, Nuptse (7855m), Mt. Pumori (7161m), Mt. Changaste (7550m), Mt. Lingterin (6679m), Mt. Amadablam (6856m), Bharuntse Mt. Thamserku (6723m), Mt. Kantega( 6685m) can be observed.
Gokyo valley is also a homeland of Sherpa people, in the former time Dole, Luza, Machherma, Fanga and Gokyo was their ultimate pasturelands. Still people are taking their animals during the summer around those area but mostly they depend and run the hotel /tourism business in peak season. We walk through mind blowing village Khumjung, Khunde and Phortse where they cultivate solo potato farming also yak pasture, impressive monastery, stupas, chortens and Manewall. The Sherpas are very rarely cultivating potatoes from Dole to Gokyo, they just prefer grass for animals but on the other side (the classic route) they cultivate potatoes even in 4310m Dingboche.
Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu international airport greeting with flower garland and transfer to Hotel and evening trip briefing with Welcome dinner.
Day 02:After your breakfast transfer to the domestic airport, and fly to Lukla (2800m)
Day 03:Trek to Namche Bazaar (344om).
Day 04:Rest day or excursion day:
Day 05:Trek to Dole (4200m):
Day 06:trek to Machhermo (4700M);
Day 07:Trek to Gokyo.
Day 08:Explore Gokyo Ri in the morning which may takes three hours to climb to the summit.
Day 09:Trek to Phortse Tanga.
Day 10:Trek to Monjo. 5 hours:
Day 11:Trek to Lukla (2800m.)
Day 12:Fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 02After your breakfast transfer to the domestic airport, and fly to Lukla (2800m) about 30 minutes with enjoying whole mountain views on north side Annapurna to Everest range. Your trekking supporting staffs are waiting you in Lukla, they will come to collect you at the airport counter and take you to the lodge for some drink break and introduction then the trek starts with your whole crew to Phakding (2640m) overnight.
Day 03Trek to Namche Bazaar (344om). The trail crosses and re-crosses the Dudhkoshi through the villages of Benkyar, monjo, and Jorshalle then climbs steeply 600m to the Namche bazaar.
Day 04Rest day or excursion day: It is consider an ideal day for altitude acclimatization in this place, after the breakfast just get higher around the museum, the Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Tawache, Nuptse, Amadablam, Thamserku, Kusumkangaru, Kwongde peak and Thame peak are awaiting to your warm greet. It would be the best morning ever in your travel time then follow the steep climb over to the world’s highest airstrip airport Syangboche. Turn to right across the Everest view hotel to Khumjung village for day excursion, visit the monastery which is steel preserving a yeti’s head then get back down to Namche by aside the Khumjung school or if you want to go to Khunde village you can continue climbing and take a direct way to Namche From KhundeDay
Day 05Trek to Dole (4200m): It is easy flat trail to Sanasa through birch, pines, and fir trees with fine views of mountains. From Sanasa it climbs up to Mongla Danda for one and half hours then descends to Phortse Tanga. A well known and typical village phortse is placed in front, there is a heavy alpin forest of fir, rhododendron, birch, alpine bamboo, pines in between Phortse Tanga to Dole. The trail is mostly gradual up through this alpine forest.
Day 06trek to Machhermo (4700M); scale up the way slowly to the ridge from where you will see a giant big mountain wall standing in forehead is Cho oyu. The trail is not steady up however it is gently ascending through Luza. Today you will see a lot of yak pasturelands; in the former time people from Khumjung and khunde used to bring their animals into this valley thus still the land ownership is highly belonged to those people from same village. Finally we will arrive by clearing one hill lap to other into a Fish shaped valley is Machhermo village.
Day 07Trek to Gokyo. You will arrive by the lunch time to Gokyo. After Machhermo you will come to first Fanga a little settlement where big avalanches have killed some people in 1996. The trail crosses the rocky narrow hill near the glacier and turns around the valley towards the lake. There are many beautiful lakes in Gokyo valley, behind the lakes there is a big glacier is laying, which is spreading from the bottom of Mt.Cho –oyu. After walking slowly around the rocky corner you will reach to third lake where you are staying for overnight at 4750m.
Day 08Explore Gokyo Ri in the morning which may takes three hours to climb to the summit. From the summit you will see rewarding views of Mt. Cho–oyu, pumori, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Bhorunche, and many others mountains in a round. Get down to Gokyo and the day free or you can hike to the fifth lake for day tour.
Day 09Trek to Phortse Tanga. Leave your foot prints and take memories, the steps are slowly back to the home from Himalayan paradise, a holy lake and a giant bedding glacier.
Day 10Trek to Monjo. 5 hours: climb up to the Mongla dand from here the trail is easy and quite flate to Chhumowa and Namche bazzar. Lunch in namche bazzar and descends Dovan, jorsalle to Monjo for overnight.
Day 11Trek to Lukla (2800m.) 5 hours walk Continue down to the Dudh koshi valley to Lukla and farewell dinner with all together.
Day 12Fly back to Kathmandu. Morning flight to Kathmandu and free day in Kathmandu.
