It is known as the most attractive and famous trekking destination, a gentle walk in the low-lying hills fringing the lake-strewn Valley of Pokhara, designed for any age trekker, culturally rich in its villages, passes through an ever increasing magic in the build-up of mountain views till a climax at Poonhill the famous view point. Different ethnic cultural groups and their warm hospitality with panoramic views of famous and beautiful mountain range of Annapurna, Daulagiri and Manaslu represents as the remarkable travel destination.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in international airport and drive to your hotel, over night at hotel in Kathmandu

Day 02: Trekking preparation day or sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara by local tourist bus or by airplane and overnight at Hotel.

Day 04:Pokhara to Tirkhedung:

Detail Itinerary

Day 04Pokhara to Tirkhedung: After breakfast, 2 hours drive to Nayapul by private vehicle and start to walk up to the normal trekking path along the Modi river bank. Today you will walk in easy terraced sloppy part crossing several groups of mule and travelers along the route. You will arrive to Tirkhedunga after 2.5 hours of walking after getting off from vehicle.

Day 05Thirkhedunga to Ghorepani: Breakfast will be at 7: Am and proceed ahead to scale your trail, cross the suspension bridge over the beautiful clear little waterfalls then the way starts to hike up steeply up to Ullery Magar village. Lunch in Banthanti and crossing the heavy rhododendron forest, Nangethanti village then just up to Ghorepani (2800mtr)village and over night at lodge.

Day 06Ghorepani to Tadapani: Wake up early in the morning and being start around at 5: 30 AM for poon hill (3200mtr) excursion for unobstructed views of Himalayas with bloomy sunrise. You will see Daulagiri 1/2/3/4, Tukuche peak, Nilgiri range, Annapurna range, fishtail, Manaslu and nicely decorated green meadows of landscape valley. After taking an hour of time and back down to the lodge for wonderful breakfast and starts for next nicer place crossing Deurali pass. The trails a ridge hides the mountains as makes a steep, sometimes treacherous, descent on a narrow path alongside the stream, as the descent continues. The stream has some clear pools alongside the trail and finally becomes a series waterfall over a jumble of boulders. The steep descent becomes more gentle way to reaches Banthanti and stop for Lunch.From Banthanti, the trail follow the stream down to a bridge where the trails start climbing through the deep rhododendron forest with the massive views of mountains and finally you arrive in beautiful settlement call Tadapani (far water)

Day 07Tadapani to Ghandruk: The Ghandrung trails descend steeply from Tadapani, through forests, a short steep descend among rocks lead to a stream crossing, and then the descent continues gently. Ghadrung is a huge Gurung village at 1940 metres, is the second largest Gurung village in Nepal and is a confusing cluster of closely-spaced, slate-roofed houses. There are neatly terraced fields situated both above and below the town. It is wonderfully easy to get lost in the network of narrow alleyways while trying to trek through the village. This village is also known as the village of brave Gorkha military homeland and popular for the most beautiful village of Nepal.

Day 08Ghandruk to Deurali: The day would be a little bit challenging comparatively to the others day. The morning walk is continuesly 3000 stairs downhill to the river site, it must be very interesting to come down via terraced rice field having the view of Mt.Fishtail, Annapurna, local cultural contact and the nice valley and the village from other side of the river. Take a short break in the river site and take enjoy of wild bees hive on the cliff just above the river. Then again walk up to the steeply Landruk village, from here the trail is little easier to Tolka. Lunch would be better in Tolka and walk along the greenly forest in Bhaisikharka to Deurali 2900mtr.

Day 09Deurali to Pokhara: Having warm drink chiefs of tea /coffee in out-sided restaurant with beautiful views of panoramic mountains and Jomsom, pokhara valley would make your morning fruitful. Your trail is often easy today to downhill from Pothana, Dhampush village to phedi. Today you will get more contact with local people and their culture/ tradition as well the nice and charming nature beauties plenty diversities.

Day 10Pokhara: Pokhara is really one of the nicest city in Nepal with romantic attraction of it’s natural beauties. You can visit a big Fewalake, temple and shopping center for the souvenier, hundreds of restaurants offer nice meal for different taste as you are looking for.The Mountains are reflecting their charm on the lake, you can hire a boat if you want tour over.

Day 11Pokhara to Ktm: There are two options to go back to Ktm from pokhara by flight or by tourist bus; if you go by flight you will see the long range of mountains view from western range to Eastern range of Nepal and nicely lined managed meadows of landscape. If you come by bus you will see local culture/tradition, way of local life and nature.
